YES I'M A LOSER BLOGGER! (loving and letting go)
Yes, many of you may have noticed that I haven't blogged in 10 months. Now I'm back. Some of you know that I started doing foster care back in August of
2009. Today I had sweet babies leave my home and my arms. I needed somewhere to place my feelings and my blog seemed like a good place. In January, I received twins that were 21 months old. They were the sweetest things. Do to confidentiality I'm not going to give their story or the mothers. Today though they went back to their mom and took a piece of me with them. I had a relationship with their birth mom, she has worked extremely hard to get them back. I'm proud of her! She did what she needed to under excruciating circumstances. It's a interesting feeling to put so much time, love, effort, and worry into someone that leaves. As my Aunt says, "it always stings when they go."
It made me think though of my Heavenly Father. Him putting so much time and effort into us knowing that we may or may not return to him. I am grateful for God, his love for me, and all of his children. No matter who you are, what you believe, where you go, he loves you, and I will always love those two sweet babies.
